Intex Surface Solutions is built on a foundation of honesty and professionalism. We understand that having workers in your personal residence is an intimate experience and that having the right team can go a long way toward making it a positive one. We are upfront and honest about our work. This starts with transparency about our process: advising on necessary maintenance and aesthetic options, including budget-friendly options whenever possible; providing a timeline for project completion; and, detailing what you can expect when we are working in your home. Estimates are always free and we are happy to consult before, during, and after the restoration process.

The Owner

Intex Surface Solutions started in 2013 but my history with natural stone began long before this. I have been working in the stone industry for nearly twenty years! My career started when I was a teenager: I spent my summers installing marble tiles with one of the city’s most reputable stone installation companies. With experience, I moved into slab installation, marble book-matching, and design at the fabrication stage. I was present for some of the first major slab installations in Toronto and witnessed the boom of natural stone in the GTA. I later apprenticed with an Italian restoration expert, learning the core skills of the trade. When I ventured onto my own, I further refined those foundational skills, transitioning to a new process that is more modern, cleaner, and environmentally safer. In particular, I changed all restoration work to a water- only method wherever possible. Using water at every stage is more labour intensive; however, preventing airborne dust and exposure to harmful chemical by-products is priceless, both for my clients and myself. The added benefit is that at the end of the job, no major cleanups are required. I take great pride in my work and would be happy to speak with you about your upcoming stone restoration project.
