Intex Surface Solutions is built on a foundation of honesty, professionalism and quality workmanship. We understand that inviting tradespeople into your home requires trust, and that clear communication can make a significant difference to the experience.

We are upfront about our work from the beginning. That includes explaining the restoration process, discussing maintenance and finish options, offering more budget-conscious alternatives where appropriate, outlining expected timelines, and making sure you know what to expect while we are working in your home.

Estimates are always free, and we are happy to provide guidance before, during and after the restoration process.

We are a small team specializing in natural stone maintenance and restoration. As the owner, I take great pride in the quality of our work and remain directly involved on our job sites. You will know who is working in your home, and I am always available to answer questions as they arise.

Over the years, we have built many long-standing relationships with private homeowners, builders, designers and other professionals. A large portion of our work has come through word-of-mouth recommendations and repeat clients, something we take considerable pride in.

The Company

As an owner who takes great pride in the quality of my company’s work, I am always present on job sites. The Owner

Intex Surface Solutions was founded in 2013, but my experience with natural stone began long before that. I started working in the stone industry as a teenager, spending my summers installing marble tile with one of Toronto’s established stone installation companies. As I gained experience, I moved into slab installation, bookmatching and design at the fabrication stage, working through a period when large-format natural stone installations were becoming increasingly prominent throughout the GTA.

I later apprenticed with an Italian stone restoration specialist, where I learned the core skills of grinding, honing, polishing and repair. When I eventually ventured out on my own, I continued refining those techniques and developing a restoration process that was cleaner, more controlled and better suited to working inside finished homes.

Wherever practical, we use wet grinding and refinishing methods to control dust and reduce reliance on harsher chemical processes. Although wet restoration can be more labour-intensive, it greatly reduces airborne dust and helps keep the surrounding home clean throughout the work. Protecting the client’s space has become as important to our process as the restoration itself.
